Thanks, I've heard a lot of the higher boost guys are not getting much in the can. I just had the blower off last week to fix a coolant leak and barely saw any oil residue. Just the very strong smell of C85 and slight yellowish color lol. Im also only around 2500 miles since Whipple, while most of those miles are WOT still no miles compared to others.
Yeah the catch can is going to build up oil in vac state like DD and cruise condition. God dam amazing CJ intake setup man, did you notice a boost increase with the CJ intake as opposed to stock or did you change pullies at the same time?

Thank you Sir:cheers:

Boost stayed the same or pretty darn close. Now that ford performance released the the diffuser, idle and drivability is great. I still need to do your Wine mod, but need a stock sound tube. Mine ran away:headbonk:

Sound tubes are almost free around here just put an add up for wanted. You need the sound tube mod more than anything else, it will literally change your driving experienc.

Question when you say Ford Performance released the diffuser and now idle and drivability are great I'm kind of lost. How did the diffuser change drivability? Was the calibration changed? Was it an inlet airflow disturbance?

Running the upr on mine. It's pricey but it's the nicest set up I've laid eyes on.

Air passing the mass airflow sensor was terrible. Had a rough idle and wouldn't make power over 7K. With the diffuser in, all is back to normal.

OK anybody that sees this please pm me if you would like to get rid of your sound tube.

Yeah the UPR is really a great setup and I haven't heard anyone complain about it that has it. It is a little costly but you can't deny the quality and function. I think it's also the only one currently that is 'designed' for the Whipple. After about 5000 miles of daily driven and aggressive road course track runs (about 1 a month) I take out a little less than a 1/4 cans worth of blow by. When it comes down to it, keeping blow by oil out of the intake is a huge thing for us Whipple guys because it prevents intake contamination and octane degrading.

:threadjacked: Can we get more Cobra Jet intake pics?
I need to move the Whipple intake box as it is killing flow out from behind the radiator. New thread?
:focus:
Running UPR Whipple (before 45degree fitting and no powder coat) and tracking.
Did not use the heavy bolt and standoff as I needed room for trans cooler lines relocated for cooler in fender (flow from below turn signal). I made a much lighter bracket out of a strip of Aluminum that uses the existing bolt at one side as other side slots securely into the weld seam gap.
