I have a new 2019 EB, but unfortunately I couldn't get the deal I wanted on one with active exhausts. I was wondering if it is possible to get after market quad tip exhaust on the ecoboost? and if so which ones do you recommend. I'm looking for something that gives a good deep tone but not too loud so that I don't wake up my neighbors.

That's like asking what's the best oil to use. There a sh-t tons of you tube videos you can watch for EB exhausts.

Personally I recommend the MBRP race catback. Not quad, though...
But, yes, there's a bunch of vids and even a thread here you could use to make your decision. I, personally, like a deep tone (mbrp race) rather than high pitched one. We could recommend all we want but, ultimately, it is your choice based on what you like.

I did a lot of research looking for that perfect EB exhaust and I'm very happy with the MAP resonated cat back. It has a nice, low tone without any of the harsh, blaring sound that most 4 cylinders get and it is loud enough to hear without being obnoxious. You can go for the unresonated version if the throaty sound is for you but I think the resonated is perfect. It doesn't have quad tips though, it just fits the dual singles of the ecoboost.

No matter what you put on the GT boys will say it sounds like sh_t. Some of us don’t care what they think. I have the MagnaFlow Street Catback and they sound pretty damn good.

Muffler deletes and 4" resonated tips was all I did to mine and it sounds pretty damn great. I still might cut out the factory resonator and replace it with a Y-pipe. It's surprisingly tame as is, which I attribute to the resonated tips. Cutting the resonator out will probably be a drastic change, so I'm a bit hesitant right now. Some guys have swapped the resonator for a small Magnaflow muffler, which apparently is also a great option to improve the tone.

Obligatory sound clip:

Not quite up to date on the models with active exhaust ( I have a 2016), but wont you have to get a new rear valance if you get quad tips? FWIW, I have the borla s-type axelback with a resonator delete/y-pipe. So basically catback. Sounds perfect to me for a 4cyl, not to deep, but not high pitch either.
