With my new Levels Street intercooler expected in 2-3 weeks, I'm beginning to get excited in the midst of 90-100 degree ambient to see charge temps below 115 while cruising down the road. A fourth gear pull on the highway brought me to 156 CAT and while my understanding of "pulling timing" is limited I imagine my poor engine was doing a whole lot of it.

So those of you who want to share what it felt like before and after your intercooler, especially those in hot climates like South Florida, I want to hear you!

It's been staying between 95°-100° here every day for the last 4-5 months. My CATs usually stay within 7°-10° of ambient, even on these hot days. I lived in a cooler climate when I first installed my Levels FMIC (Gen 1), but even with feeling like I'm living on the surface of the sun now, the intercooler has been a very consistent and stellar performer.

I know it's said over and over again, but the before and after difference is really gonna blow your mind.

That's exactly what I want to hear man, I've got a lifetime Adam tune and I've been using the Cobb OTS because his doesn't play nice with the heat down here so I can't wait to see what's he's gonna do with my UPR catless and the Levels, since Nik is local to where my family lives I'll knock out two birds and pick it up from him personally on the visit. Hoping to post a picture laying on a bed of Levels IC's :p

Intercooler is huge! Not only for safe consistent power, bug also for the ethenol tuning you can do once you get that and a catch can

You mean like E30? What do I need besides the DVCC and IC? Special fuel rail? We have 93 and E85 down here.

Like Jed said, I'd highly recommend having the intercooler before doing an E30 tune (a DVCC helps too), but all you need is a tune and intercooler for it. You'll want to grab an ethanol testing kit (look around on Amazon) to make sure what percentage your local ethanol is, but otherwise, after testing, it's just a mix and go kind of deal.

I've been running E30 for 35k-40k miles out of the 50k on my car right now, and I LOVE IT!!! You'll never want to go back to regular pump gas after you've been on E30 for a while.

Damn Justin I'd heard about E30 and its my understanding that you mix the E85 with the 93 to get to an ethanol content of 30% and you reap a lot of power but I assumed it took aux fuel or something. Now I'm excited AF.

Nope, no aux fuel unless you want to run over E30.

Let's say that your local E85 tests out to actually be 85% ethanol. In that case, you'd throw 4 gallons of E85 in the car and then fill the rest with 91/93. That's it. It's that simple.

There's also some blending apps on both Android and iOS that'll help you figure out how much e85/gas you need to use to fill from like 1/2 a tank. That's super useful too and I use it ALL the time. On the Cobb AP, you can monitor Fuel Level Input. It'll express how much is in the tank as a percentage. For instance, if it says you have 54% left in the tank, then 15.5 gal. (total number of gallons the tank can hold) x 0.54 (percentage expressed as a decimal) = 8.37 gallons in the tank. You'd plug that amount into the amount and it'll tell you how much e85 and pump gas to need to add to finish filling the tank and end up with a perfect E30 blend. Like I said, it's super handy and cool.

I can attest to the before and after the Levels Gen 3. The car actually pulled in 3rd gear, unlike before where it would literally fall flat on its face, the pull was so weak, it didnt' feel much strong than my little 07 Focus ST (2.3L NA, 165hp...).

After the levels I would always get a decent and noticeable pull in 3rd gear. 1-2 always pulled hard as well where even before some times 2nd would fall flat on its face...it was inconsistent at best unless the ambient was cool (50~60F) which helped compensate for the horrendous IC.

Yeah that's exactly how my pulls began to feel, just weak.

Cool that sounds pretty simple, I was monitoring Fuel Level Input last night on my AP after reading some threads about e30. What I wasn't able to find was the general consensus on what you'd gain in HP/TQ by jumping from 93 to E30. I'd seen a members claim for his stock turbo with no upgraded IC done by Lund (I think) but not what e30 would add for someone on say a Cobb stage 3

Usually the horsepower jump from 93 to E30 is going to be about 30 or so horsepower. It's a pretty big difference. Just remember though, you have to be tuned for it. You can't run a Cobb S3 with E30.

Yeah I've got a lifetime from Adam so I'll be working it out with him. I just wanted to use the Cobb S3 as a point of reference.

With my new Levels Street intercooler expected in 2-3 weeks, !
Alittle off topic but what did you pay for your levels street IC. I know his prices went up a bit as of lately. I'm kinda waiting to see if Nik does a group buy for the mustang ecoboost community. I emailed him suggesting a groupbuy for us members at Mustang6g but I never got a response. I know a few months ago they had one for the focus ST guys, would be great if we can get one, I'm sure a lot of members would be interested.

I believe it would have been $569 shipped but I got a little off because I plan on picking up locally. He said his cores should arrive in two weeks and then he's right to work on fabbing the IC's.
