beefy flush or minor stretch flush

What do you s550 guys prefer with the tire set up ? you guys prefer the more "beefy" flush look or the something with a little stretch and flush look.

I personally prefer a minor stretch flush accommodated with a nice drop.

it really depends on the ride height.. if a minor drop is in the cards id go beefy.. if bagged or lower then 1.5 inch id go maybe a tiny stretch.. ive had plenty of both lol now with my new mustang im going to beefy flush.. my other was tiny stretch cause i was lowered 1.5 front 1.3 rear

Beefy flush gets my vote lol.

My 305 MPSS mounted on a 11" wheel are a little stretched IMO and I hate it.

I prefer vertical.
It depends on the tires. Some tires are a little stretched looking some are vertical.

One of the things I dislike the most about general Mustang modifications is the staggered wheel look which is almost always accentuated by oversized rear tires.

Slight stretch. On just about any car.


"Beefy" is a bit too bulged for me, too reminiscent of the time when you couldn't get wheels anywhere near as wide as you can today . . . and people would squeeze L60's and N50's down onto 7" wheels anyway. Ugh :barf:

Honestly it's a matter of taste. Recently I bought new rims 11/10 and put existing tires on them 275/255. They were stretched and according to tire charts safe. I hated the look and quickly replaced with 305/285. Very pleased with the look and performance.
