I have a problem where our vehicle (2016 S550 GT Premium 5.0) has stopped responding to the key fobs.
It starts when a fob is placed in the cup holder but we can't lock / unlock the doors or start the car with the key in any other location.
I originally thought it might be a faulty RTM but I replaced this and the problem is still there.
Now I believe it's a faulty BCM and I've managed to obtain a cheap used one.
My question is, can I swap over the BCM and code the new one to the car using just Forscan?
I know I have to reprogram the fobs and copy over the as built data from the old BCM to the new one, but is there anything else I'll need to do and can it all be done using Forscan?
Sorry for the long post...
TLDR: can I replace my BCM using Forscan?
