Just ordered BBK longtube headers and got a sick labor day deal got $120.00 off, but they told me it wont work with the stock exhaust but they said 3 weeks and they are coming out with the midpipe which is what you need to connect it so 3 weeks and ill order a catless midpipe as well, BBK was great Customer service. 5 star,

Zack has a custom setup you can hear in the exhaust thread. Are you going catless or cats in the mid pipe?

Don't go catless. Stick with high flow cats. I have been having issues with a 3k hesitation. Basically going with LT headers and catless on the 2015 V6 exceeds the Short term fuel tables. The only way to fix this is to let a tuner have the car and completely rebuild the fuel tables. If you have a local tuner you trust then by all means go for it! When done send me the tables please ;)

Also BBK told me 3 weeks as well when I got my headers... That was over 2 months ago. I would just have an exhaust shop fab up some pipes for you. They can use some of the OEM piping so all they would need to do is have straight pipes (if still going catless) welded from the start of the bend on the OEM pipes to the LT header flanges.

Yah I figured I believe it was when they first came out they also told me it matched right up to the stock exhaust, and 2 weeks where releasing a mid pipe I really don't want to weld it together in case I would need to remove it to be honest, I've done that on previous cars and ran into alot of issues when I wanted it to be stock for something. Idk ill figure something out with a tune, quite irritated that they aren't coming with more this car, the buyers are there theve been here for 5 years, if I knew it would have been this hard to get parts like turbo and tuning I would've just shot for an older 2011 up gt.

Exact same reason why I got rid of my v6. No aftermarket support. Now there is a supercharger kit but I'm glad I didn't hold out for it because it wasn't affordable anyway.

Yah I have no interest in supercharging if they don't make a turbo kit then I will probably just do bolt on's tune and get a different car for a project car.

Upsets me as well... Left all of the V6 owners out in the cold while the GT and EB receive ALL of the attention. Even something as simple as a mid pipe for LT headers is no where to be found.

Doesn't make any sense, there is profit to be made by making parts for the v6 as it is still a popular car but yet companies don't seem to car. I mean what is there like 2 companies tuning for the v6 now? It's a real shame because the v6 is a great motor.

A lot of the 11-14 v6 mods should fit the 15.. there's plenty out there. 4.0 stroker kit, heads/cams, intake manifold porting, LPF turbo kits...

Is it me or are long tube headers super expensive. At least with my little amount of researching they are upwards of $800+. I know I can get BBK shorties for about $300. Are the long tubes really worth it?

I contatcted bbk on their longtubes and they hooked me up with a sick deal close to the price of the shorties I got the chrome ones because no reason for the more expensive if I plan putting a turbo in it just for fun now

I got my LT headers at a car meet for $320. That was the only reason why I went with LT headers over shorty. Shorty will provide you will most of the improvement LT headers will provide just not the sound.

Hey Zach, have you noticed a significant difference in performance after installing the long tubes? It's so hard to decide between them vs. shorties.
