Battery cable clip on strut brace

Ok, I'm a novice. How do you remove this brown clip on the strut tower?

Hmm, I'll have to try with gloves. Couldn't get it with my fingers or even with pliers.

You might be able to pry it up with a panel cilip remover tool or maybe a flat head srewdriver

ha it does look a lot more complicated than it is. Installed my STB yesterday. Like posted above just pull straight up.

if you can get a small open end wrench underneath it use that to push it up

this trick works good for popping hoses off of metal pipes/tubes

It grips on pretty tight, so you'll have to use some force to get it to pop off.
