How many folks take their Mustang to the track or would like to hit up the drag strip?
I believe State Capitol Raceway is the closest but I can never seem to figure out when they are open for public test and tune type track nights.

Would love to get a small group over to the track sometime if there is any interest??

I came from the Subaru world and ran a 13.2 in my WRX with just catless exhaust and tune.
The stang doesn't seem much faster because of the weight but it definitely should be.

I only have catback exhaust so if I could get to the 12.8 Motor Trend ran in a PP GT I will be very happy.

If we can get a few more people to post up about interest I would love to try to plan a meetup!

I think that's possible. You need a tune. I'm hoping for mid to low 12's.

Anyone in near Baton Rouge / New Orleans have some matte graphite VFS1s by chance? Also, anyone have a recommended place to get a viper security alarm system installed? Very anxious about getting one installed, but don't want to take my car to just some random authorized shop that never touched a really nice car before.

You might also want to look at No Problem Raceway in Belle Rose as well.

^^^ I prefer this track over state cap by far. Prep isn't any better, but it's rarely crowded.

Contact Express Auto Salon in Kenner. I know they work on some really nice cars they might be able to do an alarm install or at least give you some recommendations.

Haha haha I wish she was mine. She hasn't cracked 10 miles yet.
We've been treating this thing like platinum. Hasn't been revved past 3k. Was washed with brand new mitts and cleaner.

She's worth the price tag.
