Anyone else have this issue? Am I doing this wrong? Seems that none of them fit the curvature of the bumper.

They should be slightly aft of that spot, did you use the template to locate them sude to side? Also, one installed you may need to reach up inside the bumper and push on the bumper skin while holding the fin to help make good contact

Also, the fin doesnt need to be at the front of the bumper, it can be aft of that edge. It may take a little shifting to find the best spot

I was laying on the ground for about 20 minutes shifting them forward and aft and side to side I can not get them to make the entire length, I can take more pictures but they do not sit flush. I don't want to try forcing the bumper to flex and fit them because they will probably fall off driving down the road.

Also if you look at the first picture, these fins do not have a continuous arch, they flatten out in the middle which is creating a high spot since the bumper has a continuous curve.

My first set, that are still on my car didnt fit very good and they are still stuck on great...that no excuse though, im really not sure why these arnt fitting since i used the same jig to make all the sets after i hand made my first ones. I know a couple guys have had slight fitment issues though. I coul probably fix the mounting surface..but its just going to mean filling in that voided space. I wouldnt want to completely redo them since im sure that paint job was not cheap

You could stick them on and youd probably never notice the gap...some of that will actually go away when you install them because the 3m does stretch, and compact some. But i can understand if your not happy unless they fit perfect

They all seem to fit about the same, I may pull the 3m tape off and take my dremel to them to see if I can take down the high spot in the middle and on the lead edge but I was expecting to be able to paint them and put them on without having to modify them. I painted them myself so not really a biggie on the paint if it gets scratched I can just repaint them.

The ones I got didn't fit perfectly either. They seem to still fit fairly well though and I love how they look. I plastidipped my rear diffuser after and that seemed to cover up any gaps.

On a different note how the hell do you guys get these quad tips on the car!?!???

Mine have the same curvature issue but have been mounted for about 4 months with no issues. The adhesive backing fordguys550 used is pretty damn good. My rear diff is dipped as well with no issue
