I noticed a broken bracket under my rear bumper - it is starting to sag, I believe as a result. Gonna take it back to the dealer and have them repair.

Mine (2017 white + blue stripes) looks like this too. Ironically the same gaps I thought I was the unlucky one...

My 2011 had spots with the bumper alignment like that , my 2003...

Both of those are par for the course for GT350s, unfortunately. There is one really good thread on here about how others have DIY improved the rear bumper. I had a dealer attempt to realign it under warranty, including with new brackets under the bumper cover at the upward kink, but it didn't really improve anything.
Ditto.

Take it to a body shop that specializes in high-end exotics and see what they can do.
A shop near me was very familiar with the poor panel fitment and alignment of body panels present on the S550.
My car also had a paint chip on the rear quarter that was down to bare metal at the same bumper/rear quarter intersection where your paint is damaged.
They were able to "spot" repair the chip without repainting the whole quarter.
The bumper was removed for the chip repair and then reinstalled with new clips.
Chip repair is undetectable and bumper fiitment is spot on.
Cost me $400.00

By the way, the body shop at my selling dealer's solution was just to slap some touch up paint on the chip and call it a day.

Best of luck with your repair/fitment process and outcome.

I think the problem is the rear bumper assembly is just too heavy. Mine was perfect and all of a sudden started sagging. I guess they need to find more places to secure it. I have seen some repairs with using extra fasteners but some of those still begin to sag. You would think Ford could have solved this by now seeing that this is the 2nd full model year with this issue. On the bright side, I have seen some that are MUCH worse than yours.

It's a problem all mustangs seem to have. Ford has decided not to address it.When somone spends over $58K they expect better. When someone spends $20K they don't notice. That's the problem Ford has with the mustang but after 3 years has ignored it. Ford has come a long way compared to imports. But is not there yet. Old habits are hard to break.

True, but I still believe it's hit or miss. Like 50% have the sag to some degree. I also feel that it's in the assembly....some workers may have more pride then others.

My gaps are perfect but where the bumper meets the quarter panel the corners on both sides are pinched in about an 1/8"!

I looked at a 2018 stang at carlisle's ford nationals today, all the panels looked straight...there is no excuse for Ford to let these cars leave the factory!!!! No wonder they fired that Ford exec last week!!!!
I suspect they leave the factory in OK condition and sag over time - that's what happened to mine.

As sad as it is, I'd bet road conditions and the way it's driven may affect it. If you are using it as a daily driver on rough bumpy roads, it may sag more then a weekend toy.

Mine was perfect when new but 6 months and 1000 miles later the sagging has begun. It is not bad yet but I have no doubt it will have to be addressed at some point.

I know the earlier 16s had issues...
My 2017 was built at the end of August 2016 and my rear bumper is about 90% good...the gaps aren't exactly the same, but you can't see the clips. I only have 200 miles on it though.
Give it some time, my friend, give it some time...
