Happy with the spare but since it's a larger diameter and barely fits the trunk indention I can't get the hold down circle nut to go on because it is misaligned.
I can fabricate something but I thought I would ask first if someone came up with an easy way to get it to work.

Huh. IIRC, mine was square in the center.

Two questions:
Did you put the extension nut that came with the spare onto the hold-down screw?
Are you sure there's no way to jimmy and re-center the hold-down screw itself?

I just found the instructions and extension nut and was about to delete this thread but it doesn't appear that I can. Thanks for responding.

Put some vinyl protectant around the indentation and a little on tire. You can also drop the pressure a little
