Automatic vs Manual

LOL! I take Drag Racing very serious and have a manual car and would be very happy to line up side by side with an automatic ANYTIME.

Sure you will John Force, don't tell me....this is your first 2011+ mustang?. Bet that 15 has never been down the 1/4.
You can't call yourself a "serious dragracer" and plan to run the mt-82.

Actually no the 3rd a 12 5.0,14 5.0 and now 15 5.0 and you are right it has never been down the 1/4 mile hence the no prep surface. And hey if you want to label me as John Force I'm good with that LOL.

My car might see a drag strip like twice in its entire lifetime. Can't wait to take her out to a real road course though. ;)

If I was actually concerned with drag racing, I'd probably just save a ton of money by buying an auto S197, and build it out with all of the saved money. It would be lighter, there's a bigger established aftermarket, and it has that SRA.

I notice in the forums that most people refers to their manual as "6 speed manual" --
why -- isn''t all 2015 Mustangs 6 speed (manual and auto). There are a lot of reasons
why I went with an Auto but the main one is that I spend most of my time on the
Vegas Strip and baby that is stop and go traffic. "I will date a Plain Jane but I will
never drive one".

Over our 22 yrs, I think we've had two vehicles that were auto that was her DD. And that was because they only came with autos.

She's driven everything from big Jeeps to big HP cars with sticks. Dealing with high heels, dress up and work suits. After 22 yrs she was still cool with a stick 5.0 DD. Definitely makes the stick/auto owning easier, haha.

Haha, same guy I was back then as now. She still knows the package she got. And would be the first to say, if it doesn't involve any of the three, you might as well be talking geometry to me.

Both of those two would be pissed knowing I posted a pic of em in their "in the dirt" clothes and no face paint, haha.
