Does anyone else who ordered an automatic have their order showing as a manual in the Ford order tracking site? My DORA shows I ordered an automatic but I just wanted to make sure.

Mine shows as auto in tracking. Check with your dealer.

Careful saying that on this forum....Sensitive Types...lol
Lol I know!! I've notice that lately... I personally think a car like this SHOULD be in manual and that's why the Performance Package isn't offered with the Automatic transmission. I personally don't think the GT should be offered in automatic at all but that's just my opinion...

When Ford gets a more modern auto transmission and the manual is considerably slower, should the manual be excluded from getting a performance pack since it won't be able to keep up?

Oh don't worry I'm not sensitive about the whole manual vs. auto debate. I'm mainly getting an auto since it will be something both my fiancee and I can drive daily. Maybe I'll get a manual when I get something more fun for myself.

Not taking the bait. I enjoyed my manual mustangs in the past and I know I will enjoy the auto I have on order. To each his own. Get what makes you happy.

+1 with the addition of "get what makes you happy" as long as it's a mustang :-D

To each their own. I don't know how to drive a manual, and I'm not about to try learning on a car with 400+ hp.

Plus, most of my driving is done in New York City, so a manual isn't particularly practical...

Just my 2 cents, but a GT in auto is a big waste, unless you are absolutely forced to due to perhaps a disability (arrow to the knee)
Otherwise you might as well be another troll.

Manual vs Auto

Say DarkKnight...Please correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that the 50 Years Apperance Package only came in Wimbullton White and Kona Blue.

The 50th Anniversary Limited Edition only comes in Wimbledon White or Kona Blue. The 50th Anniversary Appearance Package is available in any color (I ordered it on my Deep Impact Blue GT Premium).
