rack, no, but it does have a unique EPAS, yes?
You're right, it does have unique EPAS tuning - but I would think that only adjusts the level of assist through the wheel, not the ratio or the degree of free play on-centre - those would require some mechanical changes in the rack? Would love to be proven wrong though.

He was using exaggeration because his article got a lot of flak from the readers for slamming the previous model and praising the 2015. In any case, I know it's exaggeration so I don't take it seriously.

Suspension yes, steering - doubtful as the PP does nothing to the steering rack. That free play he complained about is not a suspension issue. The car could do with a faster rack ratio for sure.
Suspension adjustments can directly impact steering characteristics. So can tire compounds and tirewall stiffness. To a noticeable degree.

I don't know if the PP affects camber and toe or if it's just different spring and damper rates though.

True but we all know that the PP has firmer bushings so maybe that is where some of the slop is coming from on the non-PP...hopefully!

What is that weird circular pod sitting on the driver's side hood you see from some dashcam shots here? (it's at 2:37 in the downloaded video.) I thought it might be a GoPro but it's painted the same color as the car.... but I don't see it from the external shots of the car.
I think you're talking about the antenna that is actually on the rear of the roof.

Great review. I think the PP will solve the majority of his nits.

Thanks! - now that I know what I am looking at it's obvious, a bit like one of those doubled optical illusions. I have never seen a car antenna like that before, I guess it's needed for the 2-way com for MyTouch services?
