Try Joel @ Bay Mufflers - he did my h-pipe and said he worked on another mustang that had imported their own exhaust.Any recommendations for an installer south of the Harbour Bridge who would be willing to install a BYO exhaust?
Some companies seem a little hesitant to fit things that they don't supply.
DrewboFor anyone interested, the best price I have been quoted from a US seller is $1400 USD delivered - works out to be around $1865 AUD at today's rate whilst also running the risk of being hit up for GST, duty and import charge (total would end up being around $2195).
Best Exhaust in the ACT will overnight the same system to Sydney for $2198.
Was is the dual tip or the quad? I have had mine for over a week now and the sound is perfectBeen to the Mustang Motorsport open day and listened to the Roush axleback. Sounds like a nice balance between growl and pitch with keeping the neighbours friendly... Has anyone heard that next to a Borla touring/S axlebacks?

There is definitely an EU version of the system with a different part number - didn't realise that our suppliers had them though. The System will sound the same whether it's US or AU....
US:EC-Type approved systems are those that comply with European Union rules for motor vehicles, vehicle systems and components.
Can confirm that Best Exhaust in the ACT stocks the US version (and, more importantly, doesn't stock the EU version). There is definitely a quiet version as mentioned by Drew. Pretty sure Herrod uses them as well on his kits.
It's not much different to stock if you ask me but then I think my Borla ATAK needs a bit more sound so ....
I know that exact feeling...:amen:There is definitely a quiet version as mentioned by Drew. Pretty sure Herrod uses them as well on his kits.

Yep, I ordered his last stock system yesterday - it is in transit, due here tomorrow. Does anyone in Brisbane know of a decent exhaust shop who are prepared to fit a system provided by someone else (at a reasonable price)? Can confirm that Best Exhaust in the ACT stocks the US version (and, more importantly, doesn't stock the EU version).
....but he's out of stock for 4-5 weeks.
