Well done Matt,

I'd love to have a great sounding exhaust, but I'm afraid I'd either:

1. Upset the neighbours

2. Tire on long drives of the Sound ( if it's intrusive ).

3. My wife cracks it !!!!

I need to hear some in person and pick the one that suits :frusty:

This beauty will be my daily driver :ford:
You can have a great sounding exhaust that also ticks all those boxes :) should I say "doesn't" tick all those boxes. I'm yet to hear a "Loud" system that sounds good. I like a system that holds a deep crisp note not just screams and rasps.....I don't want the "look at me " factor :)

Installed the corsa xtreme today - holy shit

1. It is very loud from the outside (not that I've heard it personally)
2. It is the best sounding exhaust I've ever heard (from the driver seat)
3. Every single person walking down the street will break their necks if you use more than 1/4 throttle
4. It is very quiet when cruising at 2000rpm
5. Wait until you sit in the passenger seat before passing judgement

In summary, I will probably get in trouble with it, but omg I'm in love
Hi Matt,

I am reading your quote and grinning. My Corsa Sport is loud, especially on a cold start, so your Xtreme must be insane!!! But a good insane.:headbang:

Thanks Daz,

We're on the same wave length !

I'll probably end up with something like you.

BTW I think our cars are pretty much identical except for my black roof :)

They may be non identical twins out of Flat Rock too ( in the next few weeks ) - who knows ?

I'm not sure if this will help anyone but here goes...
Magnaflow Comp AB.
Very deep in tone. Possibly a little boomy at times, although I wouldn't say it drones. I tend to find myself avoiding low rpm/high load situations. Frankly, when it sounds this good, you tend to want to rev it a little any ways.
The vid below is a moderate acceleration to somewhere around 4,500ish.
As always, the vid sounds nothing like the real thing...

Haha I drove through bondi before and some chick yelled "nice Maserati". It's certainly a different note, sounds like no other car I've heard.

It does scream though, but it's not as "tinny" as I thought it was going to be, if that makes sense. From the outside of course could be a totally different story, doesn't make a difference for me ;)

OZDAZ5.0 yep this is definitely not the one for you, it's not deep but that's what I wanted. From hearing previous Di Filippo systems, that could be a good option, yet to hear it on the stang though

PPPony this is my daily, but I haven't reached that stage in my life where I'm over loud cars. I hate drone though, and the corsa sport might be the one for you if you can hear it in real life. Honestly someone took a video of my car from the outside today and it just sounds so different compared to real life in the car

The only perfect exhaust is the one "you" love :)

The MF Comp is a definite consideration I'm just thinking if I go a full catback the larger pipes may come in handy one day.

My fav all time system is a full ARH long tubes and ARH catback....never heard anything that crisp and sweet.

Hi all, I want Quad tip Exhausts, & would like the GT350 rear valance as opposed to the Roush. Does anyone have one in Aus yet? And can you put your rear censors in them? Cheers...:)

It would appear not as a few have bought them and shipped in from the States for a pretty penny.

I'm reading a lot of the posts and cant believe the $s you guys are spending on the systems. Just shows Ford could offer different systems from new and make the cost a lot less.
My problem is this - I want a better sound but I dont really have the funds for a complete system. Genie in Perth quoted 380.00 to install a H pipe - anyone done this and are you happy with the sound?

Thx not sure if that is good or not
If you're on a budget it's good. Way better than the stock sound and that's about it. I guess your next step up is an Axle Back if you don't want to Cat it.

My only advice is to listen to an exhaust mod (not YouTube) before you commit, that way you make your own judgement. I hope that helps, otherwise save your pennys and do it right where you will really be satisfied.
