Now for the power, I was able to open it up a little bit last night and came across a car I was looking at buying a C63 AMG. Lets just say they were very even but the mustang kept pulling and is quicker within the speed limits of course.

So if you have any questions just ask!
Hey Aus-MustangGT, glad to hear you're enjoying the new beast.

I found the statement above pretty intriguing because a quick google and wiki read of the C63 reveals:
Car and Driver tested the car in their December 2007 issue and recorded a 0–60 mph time of 3.9 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 12.3 seconds at 116 mph (187 km/h).
(Source https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_C-Class_(W204)#C63_AMG_.282008.E2.80.932015.29 )

I guess I had always thought the C63 was a fair bit faster but I haven't looked for more comparisons.

Anyways, the C63's with the thunderous 6.2 has always been a bit of a favourite of mine as well, so it's nice to know the stangs are of that calibre!

I was surprised as well. Also I think that the C63 that was used to get that 0-100 time was running drag radials, they are notorious for spinning tyres and smashing diffs

And gearboxes apparently. They're not the most reliable things and that's one of the main reasons that the mustang wins out vs. a second hand C63 or E92 M3, for me anyway. I don't want no troubles, just get in and go!

Yeh we've spent all this time dissecting and criticising Ford's efforts but you melt away the first time you see one up close

Pretty much. Any little niggle fades away when you hear the grumble. What surprised me the most was the stock sound. I cannot imagine the noise with aftermarket

Aftermarket exhausts will roar, can't wait. I thought that yellow LHD one doing the rounds was a bit quiet

Great review from a buyer. Just one question. Are the Wiper and Indicator stalks on the column set up like an Aussie built car or are they reversed like they would be in a normal left hand drive car. Just wondering.

Thanks!

The wiper stalks are on the left and indicator stalks are on the right so normal for an Australian car
