HybridGT is likely to lead the way on this mod, I agree that our setup doesn't look as good but I'm not going to drop big $$$'s on it

$350 for tri-bar DRL's? Where abouts?

DiodeDynamics has the tri-bar's alone for $260 posted.

Nah man, that was for the whole headlamp etc. Diode kit $260 (AUS) plus install wherever/however much they end up charging.

Installation rates for this range from $200 - 500 depending. Not sure what that $350 he quoted includes/excludes.

I haven't ordered the DRL's yet because I need to find a different place. He can do the job, but he needs me to remove the bumper and bring the headlamps in. That's fine and all, but I'll have to hassle my friend to do the wiring after that. Rather just pay a couple hundred elsewhere and get it done in a few hours.

Oh ok cool. That makes more sense. Good luck with the install. You're definitely braver than I. Cracking open a headlamp is just.... hmmmm :eyebulge:

Don't wanna risk a $1,000 replacement headlamp (per side) to save $300 lol

If you know what you doing then it wont be an issue. So think it will be in your favor if you pay some one to do it for you...

I would definitely pay some one to do it, I don't mess around with electrics, but then again that isn't on the cards for now

I definitely don't know how to open headlamps lol... So yes, paying a headlamp mod store would be the best idea

Agreed! Safer and only $300~ with zero risk/effort lol

Now... other mods, that's a different story. Installations will be half the fun!
