That car also appears to have reversing sensors, which aren't included on our vehicles.

My GT Manual Coupe that I have had since mid February has reversing sensors and a reversing camera. Am I missing something with the posts on this thread.

No you're not missing anything. If the sensors are front and rear then that's an awesome outcome - do you have Front sensors?

Im thinking of getting an alpine slimline subwoofer Type R. ~500$
+ Custom enclosure made from fibreglass to fit snug in the corner, with matching carpets, ~400-500$.
+ Amplifier ($300 - Alpine).
+ installation etc, all up I think would cost less than 1200$ - 1300$ after discounts if done at the same place.
Keen to get onboard with what you have planned

Hi Quick duck,

Nice Pics BTW. Can you post a picture of the roof of the mustang please? I just need to know whether the pony has a antenna attached to it or not. I am going to order a set of stripes from Bagworm Graphix and I need this information for ordering that. Help me out :)

There is no Antenna on the roofs of the GT. It is inbuilt into the glass. Soft tops have an annual on the rear right guard.

No not on the Front. I understand some Dealers are offering them as an accessory for about $700 Dealer fitted. Not sure if they are a Ford Product or just a generic product that each Dealer want's to offer. My Dealer did not offer it.

I noticed there is another thread about the new Brochure that Ford Australia have issued this week for 2017 year model and is available through their Website that lists Front Sensors as standard however that may well be a typo like the old brochure listing rear floor mats as standard. Apparently this is also stated in the new brochure. Our US cousins were not even getting rear floor mats.

The Rear Parking Sensors work fine and get louder the closer you get to an object and they do not cancel out the radio altogether the volume does reduce on the Radio.

Spoke to my Dealer yesterday and the front sensors offered are generic.

They don't integrate into Sync 2 or 3, but do provide increasing audio pulses as one gets closer.

Generic sensors as such, also come with a visual display that you mount on the dash in this case. NO WAY!

I will get front sensors, but I will dispense with the display and just have the audio there to guide my distance.

$700 sounds right from Dealers, and given there's no integration with the audio system I will most likely go fully aftermarket.

Awesome :)
maybe we can end up getting it together, more of a discount!
That sounds great.

I'm Sep build for Dec delivery, but I'm sure that if we spec the custom build with your car we can both commit and then it's just a matter of a difference in when they're installed.

Just a question re your forum name, is that by any chance the rego plate you have on your car? I have 3-STANG

Camera - yes
reverse sensors - no
I have four reversing sensors on my rear bumper. And the 50th anniversary style grille is called the Styling Kit from Ford Au for $1358 and comes with a Pony badge for the rear (which I didn't want to use).

I like the 50th Ann. grill, it looks stylish and gives it a touch of nostalgia. Thanks for sharing Anne.

Thanks Yeah Nah & Ozdaz5.0. I expected that it would just be the chrome surround but they actually swap out the entire grille in one piece. I'm happy with it - like the retro look.
