I'm in WA. Only thing received so far is an email from Ford Australia saying congrats on your purchase.

I received NSC from my dealer but no welcome email from Ford or any indication of VIN/expected build date. Is there a way to find out build date timeline from nsc.

I got my NSC number last week from my dealer with a Sept 16 build date. Well at least they have the NSC numbers out earlier now

Surely your Dealer is pulling your leg with the September build date! I ordered in May this year and got my stock number a few weeks back. If my car is not built until September I'll be absolutely fuming!

No. I ordered in Sept and was told "about" 12 months wait. So Sept 16 build date is in line with about 12 months. I knew it would be a long process. I bought the Ranger when it first came out. It was a 3 month wait and I had it delivered 7 months later.

You can try PM ford australia on facebook with your nsc code. They gave me an 'indication of build date'. How accurate that ends up being... Only time will tell. Be sure to ask them about the reasons for the delays, if there are any... You might be lucky though since you have ordered the ecoboost.

Thanks bud! I gave them info earlier today and now impatiently waiting I have been following steps that others have shared in forums...it's been a great learning experience.

Just received notice from Ford Aus Facebook that my car is due to be built in April, with a June/July delivery date. This will be around 14 months wait by the time it arrives, which I'm not too stressed over as I was expecting it.
