I dunno, probably a mix of fear of messing it up, road damage, making it less new, wear and tear, OCD. Does none of that factor for you? I also want to keep it for a very long time and don't want to rack up miles too quickly.
I'm envious, brother. I don't get to drive mine enough. I won't drive my GT-PP in the winter (winter with salt just destroys a car inside and out) and I can't drive it to work because the splitter would get trashed getting into my underground parking spot downtown. Given that groceries and stuff are on the way home from work, then I really only typically drive the GT for pleasure. Which is not enough - which is why I'm envious that you're worried about racking up too many miles on yours.
I agree. The EB is the Touring car edition. My first trip was in Mar, in sub-zero weather, with varying patches of snow. The trip was from Western SD to the Twin Cities, in Minnesota, 645 miles one way. It took 9 hours with one stop for food and two for fuel. I never leave a town with less then a full tank in winter. The seat was great, although I missed the massage version from my '13 SHO. It was quiet and cruised at 75 with no problem, even in the crappy weather. I averaged 31 mpg for the round trip. The Goodyear F1 A/S tires were great, in the cold weather, compared to the useless Pirelli's that were on my 2011 GT/CS.
