....uh hey. By your video i take it you didnt know you dont heat up summer tires. Only a quick spin to clean them off. You only heat up drag radials or slicks.I have a full kooks exhaust with cats, figured I'd post this clip to help with your decision

Uh, hey, guess you didn't know those tires are MT ET Streets, haha.....uh hey. By your video i take it you didnt know you dont heat up summer tires. Only a quick spin to clean them off. You only heat up drag radials or slicks.
My mistake. They didnt look like it from what i could see. Pardon me. Im used to the majority of people being idiots heating up their summers.Uh, hey, guess you didn't know those tires are MT ET Streets, haha.
haha, it's all good. I've made 1000+ pass's down the qtr over the past decade, I know better then to bring street tires to the strip. I normally have a pair of RTS Welds, but figured I'd tryout a set of 305/35-20's on my TF Chicanes, surprisingly they dead hooked. My mistake. They didnt look like it from what i could see. Pardon me. this was my first trip to the strip running a base tune from Lund, I collected datalogs and we have since made big revisions, headed back in 2 weeks. I ran 3 11.0's and 3 11.1's all of them were 130mph, and all of them had almost identical 1.7x's 60's. It's hard to get a set of heavy 20's off the line with a 3.15 rear gear, and the weather wasn't great, 2200ft DA/mid 80's temps. I'm positive she'll go mid to upper 10's at 132+ on my next outing, low 10's with drag wheels.Nice!! What did you run?
Glad im not alone. 10k+ over the past 25+yrs. Not including the street drags:lol:haha, it's all good. Yes*Noob Alert*
When someone says they have full exhaust, Does that usually mean headers included?
Reason for asking, I am thinking of starting opposite most by doing headers first, then adjusting the sound through exhaust selection after. Headers are a definate with Kooks or ARH at the top of the list
Yes, full exhaust usually means headers back. The only thing stopping me from getting headers now besides warranty is the damn install. I've done it once on a S197 and hated it.*Noob Alert*

That sounds insanely good....very crisp tight note.Full ARH system here. Sounds amazing and not a hint of drone.
Was is the sound you hated, or the install cost which I am finding to be a bit pricey?Yes, full exhaust usually means headers back. The only thing stopping me from getting headers now besides warranty is the damn install. I've done it once on a S197 and hated it.
I loved the sound. And I didn't pay for the install. I hated doing the install myself. It took forever and a day to get it done, and it involves a lot of reaching into hard to reach places, and in general is just a giant PITA. If I was to put headers on this car, I would be willing to pay the install cost just to avoid the gigantic headache. Was is the sound you hated, or the install cost which I am finding to be a bit pricey?
I figured I could do the rest of the exhaust myself and experiment along the way to keep the tone where I like (deep side) and not toooo loud knowing the headers alone will add volume
