Maybe some other arh catback owners that did the install themselves can chime in and give me some feedback. It would be much appreciated.

I took this pic during my install. Does this help?

OMG...Now I am TOTALLY confused as to which Cat Back to buy!

* MRT
* Ford Racing Sport
* Borla Sport
* ARH

At this rate, I will be stuck with nothing because I can't make up my mind...

That's why I just pulled the trigger and bought one. Thinking about it anymore and I would have been stock forever

You can put those into 2 groups.

The MRT and ARH use H-pipes, which will be deeper at idle and not so raspy under throttle; a more traditional V8/muscle car tone.

The Borla and Ford racing are very similar systems, not identical but similar since they're both made by Borla at the end of the day. They are both X-pipe systems and will be more raspy under throttle, maybe a little less deep at idle.

It depends what tone you want to your system.

I have the ARH and the sound kicks in early, even at 2k RPMs. Some of the Borla systems sound a bit more tame until 3000-3500 RPMs I've read.

Thanks...I'm an old school V8 guy and like the deeper tone, so I always thought only an "H" pipe was my route, but I'm surprised how the Borla's sound pretty deep, but man the ARH is badass! Such decisions! Ill need to make this an I'm[pulse buy, especially with the weather breaking here in NJ...OH NO ITS NOT 6" of snow today!

Thanks Jay...Do you guys have a company that will thermally coat the pipes and muffler but leave tips chrome on any of the systems I mentioned?

We don't, really no need on these mod motor cars.
