pm sentBeefcake I've been looking on your website for this exhaust can you tell me the price and point out which exhaust setup he is running. I love the sound of it.
Thanks.
I personally feel some people are overly sensitive as well, I have 2 local cars with the x and h sw and my own personal car, and I feel the system is drone free.
we haven't got to do an ARH in house yet, but I think it's going to be pretty good as well

After rechecking my system to be sure NO metal on metal contact path for Structure-Borne Sound (AKA Impact Noise) I came to the conclusion, it must be an Airborne Sound in the Low Frequency Range (Subwoofers in trunk from a block away) that can't be controlled in the environment of the cars cabin, W/O destroying the interior.110%
I just installed J pipes on my MRT exhaust and the drone is 100% gone. The sound is also ALL tone, and no buzzy drone anywhere in any RPM range. The calculations for the length of pipe should be the same for any exhaust with a V8, it all just depends on what RPM range you get it in. I can help you out with J pipes if you need. After rechecking my system to be sure NO metal on metal contact path for Structure-Borne Sound (AKA Impact Noise) I came to the conclusion, it must be an Airborne Sound in the Low Frequency Range (Subwoofers in trunk from a block away) that can't be controlled in the environment of the cars cabin, W/O destroying the interior.
Structure-Borne & Airborne Sound can be dealt (controlled) in Buildings and Home-Theaters but are a major obstacle in cars due to many variables.
So, "IMO" the SW-H "I" received was tuned to a frequency "MY" ears did not like at 1800-2200 RPMs. Kind of like the sound of a speaker, sounds different to different people, although it's the same speaker.
The sound of the SW-H was fantastic, I just couldn't handle the tone/drone/tune/noise/whatever ya wanna call it, at normal highway speed.
Once again, I like Pepsi you might like Coke-->

Yes, but with smaller diameter J pipes that shouldn't happen as much. Mine are on the large side.I believe you also mentioned that it reduced the overall volume of the exhaust, no?
interested in the comparison. right now SW h pipe is on the top of my list in terms of sound thoughHad SW-H on my car...I ordered ARH-H, if your still on the fence when I get mine installed (Still waiting on delivery) I'll post my thoughts here.
I checked a few before ordering, Hypermotive had the best deal at the time. How long does it take to get this and who has the best price right now ?
Same here. ARH MRT and SW are my top 3 right now, but so close it's hard to get a true comparison on videos.interested in the comparison. right now SW h pipe is on the top of my list in terms of sound though
