ARH H-pipe Catback

How come the catback + longtube is cheaper than getting a full set? Am I missing something here?

depends on the headers. If you get factory connect headers, then yes. Otherwise, you'll need to get another mid-pipe with the 3" connection to hook up to the 3" headers. I believe ARH offers JUST the midpipe for this exact situation.

so either...

1. buy factory connection catback now, factory connection headers down the road
2. buy factory connection catback now, 3" headers down the line, and a midpipe with 3" connection
3. buy both 3" connections at same time

You mean basically the factory connect catback (ARH) then later a "bottleneck eliminator" header kit?

I'm just trying to fit it as much stuff in my order as possible, seeing as the exchange rate between USD/AUD is horrible at the moment :doh:

If you buy the ARH cat back now and ARH headers later they won't just bolt up, they don't make factory connect headers.

You will also end up with two X or H pipes.

ARH will offer to where they will work together, they just need to know what catback you have ahead of time.

I asked if the made headers to connect to my factory resonator and they said no it would be a custom order.

Headers Necessary?

My mods so far are almost complete! CAI and a tune after the ARH catback install then hood stripe and headrest embroidery!! Then done!!

Anyway my thoughts are.....I'm not tracking my ride, just trying to make it a nice driving, sounding, looking, car! I have no plans for headers down the road. I will enjoy the Perf Pkg and 3:73 gear set and just have some fun.

Question is.....the guys considering headers....do you really need them for a daily driver or....are you tracking your cars?? How much more HP in the end will you add?? Just curious......I know some answers will be "because I can !! ". But I would like some serious feedback and hopefully it will help others to make their decisions! As has been said before, a lot of you are piecing their mods as money permits, and many have families and mortgages, thanx guys.

Hey Mate...... Cat backs at current US to CDN bucks is $1800 CDN!!!! What is it shipped to Aus?? I just read all your wish list mods, so the $$$you save on the headers, you could easily spread around to your other Mods??? You asked!! Good luck with your decision! Did you actually get your 2016 yet??
