Are gapless rings a worthless

I’m in the middle of building an engine and I was wondering what you guys think about gapless rings. I hear they’re worthless. I hear they’re not worth the money then I hear that they’re amazing. This would be a boosted application and I think they might have some benefits in a boosted application but I’m no expert so I wanted to get some opinions
