Apple CarPlay and Waze

I finally updated SYNC 3 and am now able to use Apple CarPlay. When I begin a route in Waze it will set the starting point to my home location no matter where I am actually located. Anybody have a solution?

I have the same issue, if I open Waze from CarPlay, it shows that I'm on a guest account and won't acquire a GPS signal, defaulting to the last known location.

I have to either open Waze and plan my route before connecting to CarPlay, or if the phone is already connected I have to open the app on my phone, swipe up to close the app and then reopen via my phone screen. After that, it'll reacquire the GPS signal and be logged into my account.
