APIM USB Adapter

For anyone who has done the 4'' to 8'' SYNC conversion, what adapter did you buy to allow the USB cable to connect to the new APIM? I hear the stock usb plug won't connect to the APIM without modification. I am working on getting the parts for a conversion and wanted to get this while I waited for parts to pop up for sale.
