Anything wrong with cooled seats?

According to subaruwrx in his mustang weekly update, the cooled seats don't work that great (no cooling on seat back).He said it might be a 2015 MY problem and might be fixed in 2016 so it would be another reason for me to hold for 2016. Should I worry or is it an isolated case?

I've never experienced cool seats work well in a car before. Best was a lexus but it took forever to actually feel good.

My parents Kia Optima's cooled seats work awesome...cool immediately bottom and back.

How are they on the Mustang, anyway? Some people say it's great some people say it's not so great.

Mine work fine, they are more effective on the bottom but they definitely work on the back as well.

The back could definitely be better. Your ass will freeze long before your back gets cool.

Watched that earlier too and got me thinking the same thing OP; seems waiting for 2016MY was the right choice as this is may be an issue that will be addressed - well hopefully.

Guess I wont be getting the cooled seats, then, when its finally released in the UK. Yeah I'll miss out on the heated seats but, really, when its cold here I'm in about 16 layers anyway. So there's something I can cross off the options list.

As for the glossy black rear panel, is clear wrap a thing? That sort of phone-screen-protector type stuff tends to keep dirt away whilst being simple to keep clean with just a microfibre cloth.

Sucks to hear about the cooled seats not working well, that was a big option i was looking forward to.

They must not be using the same cooling in the explorer or truck cause those work great.

My buddy has a pretty loaded newer F150 with the cooled seats and those things seemed to work great. That was one of my favorite features on the car, lol. It's damn hot in Florida/Georgia.

Um, yeah. That was my question. I never noticed any cooling in the back.

Cooling my back? I didn't know that was supposed to be a thing...my but get plenty cool though.
