Anyone try this reverse light?

I believe in the EU they would have had to fit headlamp washers with 35W bulbs, while the 25W ones allowed them to circumvent this rule.
I'm pretty sure you can fit 35W bulbs with minimal changes. I doubt they'd remove the bulbs to check the wattage during an MOT. As long as they're focused correctly you'll be fine.

i have some plans and some part numbers, not as easy s just swapping bulbs as need ballasts as well but yes 25w for the washer reason.
Back on topic - i find the brake lights help with backing up at night, even the tail lights are pretty damned bright!

Yes, you need the ballasts, too, and maybe some adjustments in the BCM with ForScan. Nothing major.

The light showed up today rather than thursday however i got it installed. Very pleased! It is a very close fit at the top where it tucks under the bumper but i dont think it will be a issue. Install was pretty simple. Drill a 5/16 hole for the wire to pass through (the light bar itself hides the hole) the picture in the driveway is in the dark with no other light source other than the stock reverse light and the new led light bar. The garage door is about 30ft from the back of my car.

Yeah, i was surprised to see it that brite. Also has a built in plug on the harness. Thats why the 5/16 hole. I could have gotten away with a 9/32" i bet however.
