So I got an Equss rim off eBay. I just drilled out the hole in my garage and used a 2.75/70 mm hole saw. I also am posting pictures of the weight difference from a full spare to this mini spare and fitment in the trunk.

If M6G members are going after the Hyundai Equus option, who bores out the center hub opening so it will fit the S550? Do tire centers do this, or automotive repair shops, or... ?
I went to a local machine shop to get my Equus wheel hub bored out. Cost me $40.00. Machinist stated that he had to remove around 0.100 of an inch of material. Wheel shipped to my house was $115.00, machinist cost $40.00, cost to remove tire for machinist work was free. Total cost of this was $155.00.

I could not wait for the Automotive Authority shipping backlog so found an Equus spare online.

After getting a quote from a local wheel refurb house for $180 to enlarge the center bore (and no bid from other machine shops) I decided to use the above method with two hole saw bits on one center guide.

The 2.5" guide bit in the middle was a little loose in the wheel center bore hole so I wrapped it with duct tape until it fit snugly in the center bore. I then lubed the outside of the tape with 3-1 oil so it would not bind in the bore. I took it slow and easy while drilling, used the 3-1 oil as cutting oil, etc. I then did a test fit and it was very snug on my hub. Very minimal filing for rough edges and a bit of emery cloth to smooth the bore and the fit was perfect.
