Anyone running MoTec? Especially supercharged.

Hello,

I realize this is the GT350 section and I'm discussing a 2020 GT500, but it was pointed out to me that the GT350s have been running Motec for a while. I've been talking to HPJ and checking out Fathouse Fabs and I'm really thinking about adding a Motec to my build, but I have zero first or even second hand knowledge about them outside of talking with Doug at HPJ.

I'll be running a 3.8 whipple and all supporting mods. I know turbos are probably ideal for the Motec, but I prefer how a supercharger hits. That being said I'm most interested in the traction control, flex fuel, and safety side.

I want to ensure it integrates into the car, I really don't want to know it's there. All the electronics still work right?

Anyone have any regrets going Motec? Anything you wish you knew before purchasing the system?

Anything special that I need to request when the tune is getting done?

Any info or opinions would be appreciated.

Fathouse just filmed a video on the implementation of the Motec system on their in-house GT500 and the video should be up soon. May answer many of the questions you have on this.

They told me that was coming, I’m pretty excited about going this route. The Motec seems like it’s going to really make this 3.8 set up manageable and safe on the streets.

This is 1000hp on R888's in cold weather in Indianapolis this week. Puts the power down pretty well I'd say.
