I have a small dent and trying to determined if a dent repair guy can access it. It appears removing the rocker cover might provide access but finding pictures is tough.

Anyone removed and then and recall if there is access to behind the quarter panel between the rear wheel and back of door?

Thanks for the help.

Removal likely isn't necessary. If they can't massage the dent out from the back of the panel they will likely pivot to using a glue dent puller.

Will take several pulls/pops, but won't be an issue.

$50-75 dent right there.

I am going to take it to someone else this week. First guy said glue pulls would not work and the quarter is double sided and prevented access. I think the quarter is double sided. However, I think I could pull the rear seat and rear seat and rear interior quarter panel trim and gain access.

This is my sons cars and he had talked about wanting Roush side scoops. That might be plan B as I they they would nearly cover the dent.

He can drop the fabric liner and drill a hole in the outer wheelhouse to access it. Then plug the hole,

Your PDR giy should be able to "glue pull" that. That's how they remove most dents that are impossible or extremely difficult to get behind.

If he can't find a new PDR guy. I had about 15 dents PDRd from my FX35 and 4 of them had to be glue pulled. Can't tell where any of them even were. 2 of then were on the A pillar and very similar in shape and size to yours.

I had dents in a similar area in my past WRX and other cars that seemed inaccessible. My PDR guy mentions to me first that he can access it but will need to drill a hole then plug it. I always say OK and it comes out great. So I would say to find a PDR guy that will drill a hole, then plug it. But it costs between 75 and 100.

I had a few glue pulled, should not need to drill body to gain access from the inside...

I have taken it to 3 PDR guys. 1 will not touch it. 2 say pulling the wheel and drilling a hole is the only option.

Still concerned the the support pillar might limit access.
