Well, rear subframe kit, modified half-shaft, drive shaft loops, exhaust, ECU tune, slicks, roll cage and bucket seat. Not just a tune.

I am happy the boost is a winner and Ford wants it to be a winner so if you are conspiratorial in your thinking you'd assume Ford is pushing the reviewers for some good news on the boost.

I think it is common sense that half the cylinders would be lighter on its feet and think about the mods you can do to it. Now if I start getting beat in my V8 probably time to drop a supercharger on it and shut down that discussion.

Just wait till ford slaps on the TSB like they did with the coyote,that says if you tune good by warranty,that might slow down some mod"s on the Eco Boost,or destroy some engines just like the #8 cylinder on the Coyote.

The EB rose colored glasses will pop off these guys when they take delivery...that video just made it worse....just a tune lol

The rating of 310 horsepower and 320 pounds-feet of torque is laudable, but we still expected ho-hum performance. Instead, we got the nicest blend of power and drivability we've had the good luck to pilot in a long time.

Can't hold a candle to the 435-hp 5-liter V-8 in the GT version of Mustang, but the four-cylinder model is lighter, feels nimbler and scoots with enough urgency that it seems the better daily driver.

The 5-liter V-8 model felt a bit cumbersome, by contrast — an impression that fits with a heavier, louder, muscular machine.

Oh, the GT hiked up its skirts and ran when the throttle was nailed. No question there. Fastest version of the bunch, for sure. But we think the 2.3 EcoBoost would be more satisfying day-in, day-out.

I went to my Ford dealer today to get pricing on a EB and also GT and talking to the sales manager who drove both, he said he would buy an EB over a GT...said bar none it was the better DD and unless you need the HP and plan on racing/tracking it, the EB bar none was the better buy.

a 59k mustang GT is hard to justify.

He actually drove both and said the EB felt just more balanced to him/lighter/nimbler and bar none said it would be a nice daily driver. Asked me about tracking/things like that and I told him I don't plan on ever racing this thing..

This isn't a "push EB sales thing for CAFE" Brent, this was his opinion of what he liked better when he got the opportunity to drive both in Vegas.
