A/V is one of my other passions. My theatre system consists of a 55" LG OLED, Marantz SR8500 which I way need to upgrade, Oppo UDP203 4K Blu-ray player and an Atlantic Technology System 4400 speaker setup. When I listen to my records I've got a Marantz 4400 receiver, Snell QBx monitors and a Pro-ject Perspective plugged into a Music Hall Cruise Control speed controller. An older system but it performs admirably.
I just bought a 203 since OPPO is done with disk players and once they are gone they are gone for good.

Two shots of my Home Theater, most of which I built. The speakers, subs, sub EQ, etc. I spent 3 grand just on the components of the front, center, right, and maybe about the same on the subs. One is an 18", one is 12, both sealed, both driven by separate 2.5 killowatt amps seen in the pic of the amplifiers. The LCR, and rears are powered by an Emotiva 300 watt X 5 amp in the picture. All together, it takes 3 separate circuit breakers to fire the thing. Way over kill, if I could sell off without losing my ass, I would. Getting old...

It sounds freaking fantastic! Literally have cracked sheet rock with the bass. The design for the LCR speakers was an internet fave 10 years or so ago. That center speaker weighs 120 lbs alone, the bigger sub about 200lbs. 2.25" thick. You can rap your hands on the cabinets, and it sounds like a tombstone.
I bet that sub kicks bub.

I can't believe OPPO is done. That 203 is amazing.

The day is coming TV's will no longer be made or disk players within 10 years. Many kids today never look at a TV as everyone has their head into a dumb i phone.

As much as I love that Oppo I can't justify spending that when I have an Xbox One X.
