No idea on the race ones but I used a longer version of the dynomax (12" i think?) on my set up and it definitely took the edge off. Car was still loud but bearable and sounded good. I just had it off last weekend playing around with a new set up. Heres the old one with the dynos.

Did it sound deeper ?
Deeper than without the bullets? No. But they didn't really change the tone, at least not enough that was noticeable. The system basically retained the sound but dropped about 3-4 dbs.

Those tiny little things aren't going to do much as far as sound goes. Maybe it will kill a little bit of the rasp but that's about it.

If you want deeper you need to go with something more substantial. I had a resonator delete and it was raspy and loud, then I went with SLP LM1s (basically the same thing as zrussian13) and while those killed a good amount of the rasp it was still loud and boomy (almost like a tuba). Then I went with the mangnaflow trux resonator and that took care of all the rasp and definitely made it deeper.

You might want to try that, it's should be an easy swap if you already have the hpipe bolted on.

those don't really have enough internal volume to affect loudness.
if you want deeper look at magnaflow round mufflers. my sidepipe system i fabbed for my cobra was pretty raspy so i put some 4" magnaflows right about where our suitcase would be and it really made it sound a lot deeper and quieter. so i had 4 mufflers in the system, basically.

made more power, too.

I installed these on the rear , after removing the stock ones. I like the sound myself, with no resonator & a X pipe. They make the car louder , but to me..... not as loud as Borla mufflers

I tried. Didn’t notice enough sound reduction to make it worth it.
