I’m picking up a Roush supercharge kit and from my understanding… they come with a box that changes the OS and tune on the car. This kit doesn’t have it with it. Is that the only way or is there a downloadable tune I can use for it (PCMTec or HP).

Roush should supply a base tune for that kit.

Contact who you are buying it off to get it. Alternatively contact roush to find out what strategy it came wirh and me we already havw the stock file.

i’ll have to contact Roush and see if they have it. Out of curiosity, whenever I changed to their OS… Does it save my stock parameters that are pre-programmed into an existing tune or does it completely change it where I have to go back and revert all changes I want like tranny info?

If you program it using the roush tool it will completely wipe your tune and put theirs in.

You would need to read/save your current file first if you want a backup.

Other data like asbuilt (eg what you can edit in Forscan etc) mostly persists a flash unless its a completely different OS or roush re-write/edit the asbuilt.

I would backup your asbuilt data (from the PCM, BCM, ABS) via forscan before hand just in case.
