Not for the Mustang . . . . . . . yet! However, I have had custom mats made up by www.morethanpolish.com for cars and they have always been very nice.

i have i believe OEM front mats (they clip in) and some cheapo mats in the back cause lets be honest when you put the seat into position you can't see the floor back there anyways. Just in case I do have a passenger back there or more likely the shopping!

Long story ā€¦ lol

I ended up with two full sets of these mats.

I have a rear set permanently in place for the kids (photo above).

The front set havenā€™t been used. I expected to use them watching a triathlon in north Wales tail end of last year - I wanted to take my car around the bike route / over the passes etc along with lakeside and trail viewing without switching out footwear. COVID stopped that plan so they are sat in the garage awaiting the same event this year lol.

Spare set - I wanted to sell as a set of four, but recently I have noticed that I might be wearing the cars carpet (not the mat) under the gas pedal, but in front of the standard carpet mat. Iā€™m thinking I might use the front all weather mat, cut the corner out and place it under the standard carpet mat. As it extends up behind the gas pedal it will protect all that area. That would result in me having a spare / scrap front passenger mat and two spare rears.

For an everyday / all weather mat, I havenā€™t seen anything else to touch these for robustness and quality of fitment etc :like:

I have the plastic all weather Ford made Mustang mats as in above link and I cant fault them. They fit really well and are well made. The Mustang emblem on them is a nice touch

I also have the Mustang boot liner mat which is pretty decent although imo isn't exactly a perfect fit it's decent and good enough though and looks far better than the bit of crappy carpet.

Yeah I should add - if you have the boot liner don't think that the mats are the same material / same quality.

The floor mats are much better and made from a far thicker / tougher material :like:

a (i got the Ford one) trunk mat is great, defo keeps the carpet protected. I put an anti-slip mat in the back to as it's quite a large in there for stuff to go bouncing about lol. Not used to so much space in the boot (ex mr2 owner)
The floor mats from that ebay link look good :like:
