I had emailed the organizer over at Hot Rod and he responded that it would be up to COTA and that if they did let us run laps, it would cost extra. It's what made me decide not to go. Are you saying now we can run laps?

Registered members received an email yesterday with the announcement that COTA was doing it.

Basically it's a parade lap with all the other cars and it costs $50. For me it's a negligible fee for a once in a lifetime opportunity. How many people can claim their car drove on an F1 track?

If anyone is in need of upper and lower grilles, or fog light/turn signal housings, for a 2015/16 PP, let me know.

I punched a hole in my front bumper and I'm swapping out the entire front bumper assembly.

I purchased a practically brand new assembly off of ebay. It's a take off from a ruby red, so I don't have to have it painted.

Anyway, the grilles and the fog light/turn signal housings in my old bumper assembly are still in good shape if anyone is interested. :cheers:

AFAIK there isn't a specific one for S550's. I know there's Austin Area Stangs (or at least used to be). I was a member for my previous car, but I stopped going to the get togethers because my kids never wanted to go. Their forum looks dead and I never see posts on the FB page any more. And there's a Mustang club, but I've never been involved with them either.

That being said, I'm all for participating in one if we decide to make it happen.

To my lowered brothers: How are you guys managing in Austin? I drove around the city a bit in my girls Honda and could only cringe thinking about putting my S550 on coilovers and heading around town.

I scrape on the occasional speed bump and going in and out of some driveways, but I have the Steeda jacking rails. So they scrape before anything else.

Anyone know which version of the Mustang this almost new splitter goes with? It's off of an almost new front bumper assembly that I recently purchased to replace my bumper assembly. I know it's not a GT PP splitter. Maybe for any non-GT PP?
