Anyone experienced rough starts? Battery?

I've noticed this the last few days as the weather gets hot (could be no correlation).

- Get in the car in the garage. Start it up. No problem.
- Drive to my girlfriend's house 30 minutes away? No problem.
- Park, go upstairs to collect her for date night. Come back downstairs in about 30 minutes and we head out
- Start the car and it has a rough time starting. Almost like there isn't enough cranking power

Is the battery dying? Is the starter going caput? Any test I can do on that to check? This is the stock battery that came with the car.

Paranoia caused me to change the settings on my dashcam so that it turns off immediately when the car turns off rather than after an hour or 12.0v thresholds.

I haven't had any issues starting my 2020 despite using it only twice a week on a short run, however I do periodically charge it with a smart charger (goes to trickle charge after battery reaches the desired voltage). I would get the battery tested as it could likely be failing. Most starters will draw more current when hot (remember the days when guys with the old 57 Chevys would park for 20 minutes and the hot soak of the starter would cause it to barely turn over, but if it cooled off, it was fine so GM came out with heat shields to help reduce the problem).

That is basically what it feels like I'm experiencing lately.

Park for 5 minutes? Rough start.
Park for 5 hours? Smooth as butter, fires right up.

Now that my Dashcam no longer runs in PARKING MODE I'll see if it smooths out a bit and help narrow the focus. I do have to take her in for routine maintenance soon so will have them check the battery then.

There are a few posts on here about the stock battery being kinda crap so I may just swap it.
