Anyone ever tried this down pipe?

Sounds really nice but I just can't get over the smell and the smoke haha. Going to be welding a high flow cat when I get the chance.

Would that be acceptable to do?

You need to delete the pcv and get a dual valve catch can. No more smoke.

Only thing done behind the downpipe is the muffler delete. No spark plugs, cel, tune

Sounds pretty nice with those crackles, cracks as much as an F-Type haha but not bad for $300.

Just installed my downpipe! Not really liking the sound with my magnaflow competition exhaust. Keep in mind that I've only heard it from inside the cabin. Going to ask a friend to drive it around so I can hear it better. Other than that, installation was straight forward!

I may have to add a small resonator to the exhaust just to make it sound a bit better.

One thing everyone have to take into account is the added rasp, noise, and loudness when adding a DP and that especially goes for a catless DP. Your normal catback will not be the same sounding system after DP goes on. Some might like it and some might not. I would personally choose the quietest and deepest tone exhaust when planning for a DP.

This is the best DP ive seen for what it cost me hands down! The craftsmanship and quality put more expensive versions from more well known company to shame, but personally, I think this is ATP just sold to 2nd hand vdndor unbranded similar to what CPE did to their monster IC core for steeda for the ST crowd. Just look at this beauty[emoji196]

My thoughts exactly! Really good for the price! And that is the gasket that mates the downpipe to the turbo. Sticks right in that groove on the top of the downpipe.

Just installed mine... Sounds pretty damn loud inside the car. I don't mind the smell much, it's not too bad, and no smoke yet. I need someone to do a drive by so I can hear it. Mine is a CPE DP

Haha, I'm still waiting on my ATM IC and Tune + WGA to get here in the mail. Once I have everything on and tuned I'll be ready to actually have some fun.

pulled into the gas station to buy a protein shake, by the time I got back my car was smoking from the engine bay. The smoke was so bad I turned my car off and popped the hood. My brother opened the hood and said my downpipe was glowing red. After coming to the conclusion that nothing was wrong, I turned the car on and a HUGE smoke cloud came out of the exhaust. Car did not drive like it had a problem

I drove from my brothers house to pollo tropical and then the gas station. The entire trip was less then 30 minutes. I did not rag on the car, car temperature was fine. I already have a check engine light cause of the downpipe. Any other ideas?

Sounds like a leak somewhere. How is the gasket?
