Diode Dynamics is really good at warrantying their products, I'm sure if you wanted to save some money you could of just sent them an email with pictures and they would send you a new bulb(s) free.

Diode Dynamics is really good at warrantying their products, I'm sure if you wanted to save some money you could of just sent them an email with pictures and they would send you a new bulb(s) free.

Looks like you have a warm white 194 bulb on the corner light there vs. cool white.

Thanks. I already bought new ones and have them installed. Looks much better now. I bought these from Modifymystang.com at Mustang week. No big deal.

At this point I have had to replace every external Diode dynamics light on my car (switchbacks, front sidemarkers included with swtichbacks, read sidemarkers) except for the reverse light. First, the switchbacks wouldn't engage anymore, would turnoff when they should have turned to amber for turn signal. Warranty replaced to a revised design. No problems after replacement.

Next, the rear sidemarkers had dead spots about 4 months in, warrantied to revised design, no problems so far.

After that the 194 led bulbs included with the switchbacks started flickering about a month ago (been on the car since February 2015), replaced and again, no problems so far.

Kind of annoying that all these problems happened but I understand that they were all early iterations of new products and anything aftermarket can have problems vs oem parts. That said, DD was very quick to replace my lights and seem to have worked out the problems early adopters had.

If their lights didn't look so good on the car I may tell people just to stick with the stock bulbs bulbs and not have any headaches. So far, they have been very quick to fix my problems and their products really elevate the look of the car, especially the rear sidemarkers.

In this particular situation, OP purchased from an authorized dealer at Mustang Week and ended up with a different color option by mistake. They were packaged correctly, it was just a mistake from the hustle and bustle of a busy show I imagine

We were contacted, and replacements were sent out free of charge (I had previously created an RMA OP)

Damn - that's some impressive customer service and support!! I've worked in the customer service / call center business for 20+ years, and am a firm believer that the support provided AFTER a purchase is just as (if not MORE) important than the product that was sold in the first place. Customers will talk and support a company more based on the service provided, which in turn helps that company get more business - it's a win-win. Honestly, I've been on the fence about getting a set of those switchbacks for my S550, but seeing this has sealed the deal... I think I'll be ordering a set tonight.
