I actually like that GM did not skimp on the V6 the way Ford did.

GM just chose a different strategy, emphasizing the V6 but offering the T4 as a base model with better economy.

Ford chose to skimp on the V6 (clearly planning to phase it out soon), and instead focus on the EB4.

As a fan of N/A engines, I prefer GM's strategy, but Ford's is clearly working (and you may be right that it makes more sense, because it drives most people not wanting a V8 into the more fuel efficient EB4, which help CAFE). GM may get most people going towards the V6, which might not help their economy numbers as much (or maybe the lower power turbo will still be popular, and will help the numbers even more).

In any case, it is nice to see GM showing a little agility in the design, and adding the T4 late in the game.

Oh they skimped the V6 in the handling department. The V6 pushed like a dumb truck.

Turn down the hate you salty hater, you see, the carmaro lost so much weight the driver couldn't handle it, so that's what happened.

Don't look that fast to me and he was following others and couldn't keep up.

And yes I hate GM! And really not sure I will ever buy another Ford. Looks like Ram can kiss my but also really. Ram ( dodge) can't fix a leaking third break light in 5 years of the current Ram 1500. See I'm an = hater

Think i will Buy used from now on. Dealers mostly suck. Up first will be a 10 - 15 Camaro. Yelp I beat to a different drummer.

This just in:

The GM 4 cyl in the Camaro will have active noise cancellation and enhancement software and programs...

The 6 and 8 cyl will have unique ductwork that brings resonator noise into the cabin.

Meanwhile when the Mustang had similar systems they were lame

GM does it and it's brilliant and just fine.

Double standards much Bowties?
