For you guys with black cars get a Sharpie - works wonders on those small spots & hairline scratches. Noticeable at 1st, but 'blends' after a few washings & you have to look hard to find the spots.

After using Xpel Ultimate on the front end of my current car, I think my next Mustang will have the entire front done as well too. With paint being as cheap as it is, the slightest rock will chip the paint and leave a nice indention. Xpel does a really good job protecting against the smaller rocks like from the construction trucks that are assholes that think a sign that says "WARNING: Not responsible for broken windshields!" makes them not responsible.

I just had one driving down the highway today on my way to work and all I could see on my headlights were rocks bouncing on the highway. I slowed down and let him get some distance. I was even in another lane and the rocks were bouncing into the lanes to both sides of him since he was travelling in the middle lane where he shouldn't be. It just pisses me off that they are allowed to do that.

Really not a whole lot you can do against flying rocks at highway speed.

I had one take a small chunk out of my front bumper cover the other day. :(

I gave one of those guys my 44 oz Hawaiian Punch one day. He gave me the finger, the nerve of some people.

Mine has plenty of rock chips on the bumper. Kinda normal, when you're out driving on the highway, with other cars around you throwing up little rocks... I give 0 fucks about the paint chips. It's inevitable.

11000 miles and 1.5 years later, no paint chips (other than the fucking door tip that my friend used to destroy his own door's paint next to me when he opened the passenger door too wide).

please note that I refuse to drive on tollways (until ipass corruption is gone) with the car and drive most of the miles at night on the weekends.
