Any experienced Tig aluminum welders near Parrish/Sarasota Florida area?

Are there any experienced Tig aluminum welders near the Parrish/Sarasota Florida area on here? I’m looking for someone to weld a couple of 6061 aluminum bungs to my transmission housing, as well as a 3” long bead (both sides) on a Closed Corner Joint for an external fluid pump mount. See pics below of what I need to have welded for visual reference and the quality of the weld bead that I’m looking for. Thanks

I don't agree that finding someone to weld aluminum is difficult. Most any Welding shop has at a minimum one guy that can do it. Google a local shop and if they can't do it, I'd bet they know someone local who can...

I will say learning to weld aluminum sucked. And I was using hand controls and hand feeding, making frames for snowmobile trailer covers. Even being a decent welder, it took me a few weeks to really get the hang of it.

Yes, I agree it’s tougher to master aluminum. I have a buddy in Kansas City that lays down some beautiful beads (Arc and MiG), but he has no problem sending aluminum work out to someone who is very capable and experienced in welding it.

Whomever I use has to know what they’re doing because I’’m sure their pricing is going to be high and therefore, the work has to reflect what they charge. Secondly, It would never set right with me to have someone do a half booty job (whether it‘s hidden or not). There are far too many people operating like that in just about every profession nowadays and I want no part of it.

Send it to my company. I will weld it. I would also recommend a bevel for the corner joint. Less chance of cracking and you won't have to weld it so hot to try and penetrate the joint. The fillet weld on the other side is fine how it is. The oil pan won't come out as good as the video beads you posted. The pan is cast and who knows where a nice hole could be lurking within the cast. Www.idealweldingllc.com
