I absolutely love the Grabber on my '22. But it's also the only really interesting color option we have for '22. I don't understand all the white/gray/silver cars. Same color as a Lexus? Meh.

Because silver and white make the GT/CS look its best. That is, of course, for Grabber Blue.:clap:

I just have a feeling I’d get sick of this color very quickly. Like it’ll get really obnoxious, if you know what I mean.

That's easy.......Think California, think beach. I understand you have a few of those down under. :giggle:

GT/CS look best in lighter tones. Especially the vert. Iconic Silver, Oxford White, Yellow Peel (if that is a 22' color) and my all time favorite, Grabber Blue. I keep thinking of trading in my OW 19' but cannot justify the cost just for color.

That is a great way of thinking about it. I never even considered Oxford White, it looks really good. Shows off the CS really well! Especially that we get different the clear taillights in here. I’m usually not a big fan of white, I always thought it’s a bit boring, but the contrast between the white and everything else on the car is undeniably good looking. Man! I don’t like it when I have too many choices! If I wasn’t getting a CS I was set on Shadow Black with the black wheels. Just full on black on black!

Maybe... but here are my last two trucks to give you a reference for my color palette, haha. I had a Civic Si in white and in silver (2013 and 2014) and what I really wanted was the ORANGE one... just couldn't find one.

Here's the Civic Si I could never find to buy, so ended up with boring colors.

Not sure why, but it seems like white is the "classic" GT/CS color, so I would probably choose that on a GT/CS. However, the bargain that the GT/CS used to be (it was a great package for only about $2000 on top of a base GT) is no longer. It's now overpriced cosmetic stuff and not even necessarily great cosmetic stuff (who really likes those wheels?).

The S197 GT/CS was a bargain deal. I almost ordered one in '08, and there was no better bang-for-the-buck package than GT/CS.

Do you know the cost of the CS package in 22'. It was still $2K in 2021 and well worth it. And in 22' us local folks finally get the PP with MagneRide.

Edit: Just checked. The CS is still a deal at $1995.00 for 2022.

I didn’t know they have Grabber Blue for 2022. Is it like that ā€œSmurfā€ blue from 2014?

Also, seeing that you’re in Brisbane, where did you end up ordering from? Finding it hard to find a decent salesperson who actually knows about the Mustang, and can assist with the ordering process and price šŸ˜“

Feel free to PM me if you’d like.

I have no issues buying new. The second hand market is absolutely insane cause people don’t wanna wait for their new cars. I don’t mind waiting, but won’t be waiting for the S650. I’m in Australia. Chances are, it won’t be here before the end of 2023, possibly early 2024.

Not only is the M1 out of my budget but it only comes in manual. Need an auto.
Not sure why it wasn’t mentioned but the M1 can be had with a 6 speed manual as well as the 10r80 auto.

Or did I miss that only the manual is available in Australia?

You’re talking to a BMW guy bro, an M1 is totally not a Mach one to me šŸ˜‚

As far as I know you can order the Mach one in auto. It’s not like the Shelby gt350

I'm usually always into colour as well, hence my previous Competition Orange. Loved it. Wish they had a good shade of Orange honestly. There's only Cyber Orange which I'm not sure about. You know what colour I would have certainly had? Need for Green! That looked super mean!

I could be wrong, but literally every M1 I've seen was in manual. Either way, Australia only got 750 of them and they are all gone šŸ™ƒ
