So I've seriously called enough dealerships to the point where I can't take it anymore. Does anyone have a suggestion on who to call or if anyone has one. I can travel to where ever and I figure there will be an adm. Please let me know, and I really do appreciate all the info everyone gives on the website.

Have you had any luck? I'm in the same boat looking for an allocation on an R. I waited a year to get my 07 GT500 and found it at a dealer in SC. So since you seem to not be having any luck I wonder if the dealers who have allocations are waiting for the cars to come in then try and sell them to the highest bidder because they are afraid they are leaving some profit on the table.

At this point I would probably pay 5K or a liitle over but not paying 20K. Thats over Z06 money and more than I paid for by DD Fiesta ST . Plus the performance of the new Camaro is to close to warrant paying more in my opinion. I wouldn't buy a Chevy but I'm not making a bad business decision either.

I'm stll on the fence on colors between Race Red and Avalanche Gray. My GT500 is Torch Red but the AG looks sweet just havent seen an R without the stripes yet to make up my mind.

I'm sure if you gave your R up the dealership may just up the ante... say $20K ADM thereafter.

I don't think you'll find one for 5k over. One member here has essentially called every dealer in the us and hasn't found one(that is still available) for that cheap

Yes - my dealer "metioned" to me that they've had offers above what I paid for my car. Hopefully they stick to their word here. I have too much documentation anyway - for them to sell it to anyone else without a legal battle ;)

Yeah I agree that 5K ADM right now is out of the question. They need to start delivering R's so we can see what the real price people are willing to pay. I watched the KR's go up and come down so I've seen this all just a few years back.

I just didn't know how many of the 2016 allocations have already been spoken for or ordered. I may even wait on a 2017 if they make them.

This will be interesting. Ford has never built a Mustang quite like this in that it's attractive to so many other loyalists of other brands. The KR isn't a great comparison, IMO, as it was more of a Shelby name money-grab that people bought purely for investment which is always a bad idea with new cars. The KRs dropped almost immediately as people realized this.

However, what's driving the price THIS time is actual performance and value for the money..AND they happen to be low-production, too. I can't tell the future but the "feeling" I have is that a pre-owned R will not drop below it's MSRP for quite some time.

This is no KR. The R has so much more value and potential.

Base price I give you its a value but with the ADM I'm not so sure. So in your opinion the R is worth 30K more than a Track Pack GT350. Because that's what the difference is. 20K ADM brings it to 90K out the door.

I'm not disagreeing but I need some more proof. If it beats a GTR, GT3, or Z06 then I'm with you.

I can tell you now that it's not gonna beat a Z06 as hat was not the intent it was created for. It is quite simply the best track offering for the ponycar wars at this point in time.

As for ADM, I won't go there. If you could find a TP near MSRP vs an R with stoopid ADM, I'd choose the TP every time.

IMHO, this car (all 350 variants) is worth every penny of its MSRP. I'm proud of Ford for offering such technology and heritage is such a great package for the price they set it at. This car, although not produced in large numbers, was meant for the blue-collar purist... Affording the common man to experience a little taste of Italy mixed with American muscle and a little Ian Callum-like styling.

This quite simply is the most beautiful and most track capable offering for the price from any manufacturer.

If it beat all the cars you mention it would be worth 130K, then your still 40K less than a 991 GT3 with its ADM...
