If it beat all the cars you mention it would be worth 130K, then your still 40K less than a 991 GT3 with its ADM...:cheers:

GT3's can be had for less than 170,000. At this point likely only able to get used anyway.

Called them this morning and spoke to Mike. He said it was just sold to someone in Cali for 20K ADM. He also said they have 7 350s inbound and some can still be modified for 10K ADM.

At this point I would probably pay 5K or a liitle over but not paying 20K. Thats over Z06 money and more than I paid for by DD Fiesta ST . Plus the performance of the new Camaro is to close to warrant paying more in my opinion. I wouldn't buy a Chevy but I'm not making a bad business decision either.

I'm stll on the fence on colors between Race Red and Avalanche Gray. My GT500 is Torch Red but the AG looks sweet just havent seen an R without the stripes yet to make up my mind.

Sorry to be a bit off topic here. I ordered AG with white stripes but been eyeing other colors w/o stripes: RR, DIB, or Black. What to do????

What do you mean by verify? Either your dealer has an allocation for an "R", or they don't.

The person at the dealer in the know is usually a sales manager, GM, owner, or ordering specialist.

If I understand your question correctly, ask the dealer for a copy of the e-mail from their Ford Rep detailing their allocations.

I've begun my search for an R. I have a 350 on order but if I can find an R I can justify selling my '04 Mystic. I have found one in TX but the adm is 15k. I'm waiting for him to call me back.

Edit: Dealer called me back. He said he can't sell me their R because of a titling issue. They're in TX and I'm in CA. :( Anyway, if anyone's interested the dealer's name is Joe Myers Ford in Houston. They didn't say specifically they would sell for $15k over but he was aware that was my limit and said he'd work with me.

Ya I was just curious, because a lot of dealerships seem to still not know exactly and can still put in a Dora for them.

I had a dealer order me a R and they were not aware they could not get it. They knew they get one car but thought the order for the R was good. It took 3 months before I found out. So I had to find another. I did and locked it in . just hope no more mistakes. Still makes me nervous that I may get a call and they say we are not getting one.
