Craft shop opened at 9:00, got a lift and let the engine cool down. By 12 noon had the passenger exhaust manifold off. By 3:30 pm installed both of the OBX headers. At 5:30 they kicked me out of the craft shop.
I used a drive on lift that came with a center lift to sustain the engine while motor mount brackets were off. I knew I would have to go up top after removing the bracket.
Remove the bracket and then the starter, install starter then bracket
Put the passenger oxygen sensor extension on before you install the header
Passenger side had to mix bolts (back upper one and bottom back two) with studs. I used ARP 773-1002
There is something very sharp above the place where the starter mounts on the bell housing
I had to weld the exhaust; I have no rasp
Ratcheting wrenches are paramount (stubby flex head, regular and a long 15mm)
Watch the CJPP & LMR Youtube
And then there is the problems that I had:
The car eat a header nut and the stubby flex head ratcheting wrench fell into the header tubes and slid down to the collector (several times).
