Android Auto Not Connecting with Sync 3

I am having a problem getting Android Auto to work in my 2020 Premium GT. I get this message and I do not understand what it means. It just stays at this point. I check my phone and don't find anything to help. I have tried resetting the system and different cables to no avail.
Android Auto works fine with the same phone on my 2020 Explorer ST.

Cable connections need high grade date cable or there all kinds of issues.

Check if your android auto app is up to date - they intentionally restrict function if update is overtime to force you to do it or abandon the platform.

Bluetooth needs to be on as well.

I had the same problem with a dodgy cable, dont buy cheap.

A VPN on your phone will stop it working. If so, go to your VPN settings and exclude AA. If no VPN you can try deleting the AA app off your phone and putting it back on again.

i have VPN constantly on the dedicated data only SamsungS9.in console works perfectly I also hot spot and works well.

I've seen on multiple occasions when an Android update is not done it kills the connection.

I'd delete android auto, run device care to delete all cache and junk, reinstall and reconnect .

The cable is everything. One pinch from the armrest lit and it's likely toast. Get steel braided 1-1 1/2 ft one, high speed data. They are cheap on Amazon now.
